Before your treatment:

• Avoid sexual activity 24 hours prior to treatment

• Avoid scheduling treatment during your menstrual cycle

• Hair should be shaved in treatment area 2-3 days prior to the procedure. If you plan to wax or chemically remove the hair, please do so 1 week prior to procedure.

After your treatment:

• After the treatment, apply Aquaphor or Vaseline 2-3 times per day for 5-7 days.

• You may ice the area as needed for comfort.

• Gently cleanse the area with mild soap and water.

• Avoid sexual activity for 7 days.

• No tampon use for 7 days.

• No bathtubs, jacuzzis, or swimming until skin is completely healed.

• Tenderness, swelling, and itching to the external treated area is to be expected following the procedure.

• Please contact the office immediately if there is excessive swelling or signs of infection such as oozing, foul smelling discharge, excessive bleeding, or severe pain.
